Dear Neuromorphs, (apologies for cross-posting)
Our research group at the University of Tokyo, Japan, is looking for two full-time researchers in digital and analog-digital circuit designs.
What you do:
- Prototype with FPGA and then architect ASICs.
- Develop next-generation, event-driven integrated circuits. Our primary focus is event-based cameras, but not limited to, such as audio sensors.
- Collaborate with (i) event-based vision professors/researchers from CV/ML areas, (ii) AI accelerator professors/researchers from semicon areas, and (iii) robotics professors/researchers, aiming for the end-to-end application demonstration.
What we offer:
- Opportunities and budget to tape out your design from fabs in Japan and Taiwan.
- Collaboration opportunities with our partner institutions in Europe and the US.
- Competitive compensation.
We welcome all levels (e.g., including senior levels), possible to start immediately. Visa is sponsored for overseas applicants. The maximum contract is four years, depending on the progress.
Industry experience and/or future industrialization interest is also welcomed. (For industry-background applications, Ph.D. is optional.)
Or reach out to me for any questions.
Thank you and best regards,
Shintaro Shiba, Ph.D.
